During the previous games from Halo franchise, there were lack of in-depth synopsis resulting in lack of connection between fans and the story of game. This issue was highlighted by Head of Creative, Joseph Staten in his blog.

He wrote in his blog, "We're at a critical phase in the flight that is Halo Infinite, so it's extremely important to avoid distractions and stay focused on mission-critical tasks only." He further added, "For Campaign, that means putting maximum effort into ensuring the wide-open, adventure-filled experience  you'll all get to play on December 8 is as great as it can possibly be. And gameplay demos and trailers not only take a huge amount of effort to do well, they also take cycles away from bugs and other showdown tasks."

There has also been positive review about the game in multiplayer division. Both newcomers and fans have positively reviewed the game due to its interesting gameplay. During the previously held multiplayer gaming testing phase, 343 Industries used all the feedbacks it could collect and improve the gaming experience.
It is expected that the gameplay for multiplayer gaming and campaign would be separate and would have different experience.
Halo Infinite would be releasing on December 8 across Xbox series X|S, Xbox One, PC as well as Xbox Game Pass.
