Different Villains in Resident Evil 8:Village

The latest addition to the Resident Evil Series is the 8th installment of the game, Resident Evil 8: Village. It revolves around a village that is controlled by the antagonist named Miranda. This game was dev3eloped by Capcom and released on May, 7 2021.


During the marketing phase of this game, whole marketing gimmick was around Lady Dimitrescu. However, she is only one of the four lords in this game who are supervised by Mother Miranda.
In order to save his child, Rose, Ethan needed to collect the four pieces of body of rose from different lords. Let us find which boss had which kind of powers and how Ethan countered them.

Boss 1 : Lady Alcina Dimitrescu

Dimitrescu is the first boss who is encountered by Ethan. She lives in castle Dimitrescu along with her three daughters. She is very tall standing at 9 feet and 6 inches. Her three daughters are Cassandra, Daniela and Bella. All her daughters try to win attention of their mother through their work.

It is understood that Lady Dimitrescu created her daughters through experiments using Cadou parasite. From the notes, that Ethan found in Castle Dimitrescu, it is understood that all the occupants of the Castle Dimitrescu are made of parasitic flies that freeze in cold air and become dormant. In the notes found by Chris in Lab of Miranda, it is mentioned that Lady Dimitrescu has hereditary issues of low blood. It is also mentioned that she and her daughters need to keep drinking human blood to allow health generation. 
Lady Dimitrescu has speciality to convert her nails into long claws that can cut down flesh as well as bones. In one of the incident, Lady Dimitrescu cuts down hand of Ethan. However, Ethan is able to attach back his hand as he is made out of mold.
Lady Dimitrescu can be killed by use of knife found in the uppermost coffin of the last person who came to kill her. When Ethan uses this knife on Lady Dimitrescu, she turns into her original form of monster and attacks Ethan.

Boss 2: Donna Beneviento

She is the second boss of this game. She loves to play with dolls. When Ethan faces her, she is completely invisible and a doll has taken her place, which was her favorite doll. Donna has special ability to make her victim hallucinate thus, making them see whatever she wants them to see. According to the notes of Donna, she was over indulge in dolls as they help her to pass time. In the notes obtained by Chris from Miranda's Lab, it is identified that the cadou was distributed into her dolls.


In house of Donna Beneviento, Ethan gets trapped and has to fight a cadou modified fetus that tries to swallow Ethan. During investigation, Ethan feels her present in the room and magically she steals all the weapons of Ethan. During final fight with Donna, she summons all her dolls to fight against Ethan by attacking him in event he fail to spot her in game of hide and seek.
Ethan fights her back by playing hide and seek and spotting her doll three times. Each time Ethan spots the doll, he also stabs head of the doll  with a scissor. Thus, Ethan is able to escape the traps set by Donna and get the part of Rose, he came for.

Boss 3: Salvatore Moreau

Salvatore Moreau is a villain who looks uglier in comparison to other bosses.. According to the Miranda's lab copy, Moreau has unusual cell division that resulted in change in parts from human to fish. Moreau has special ability to convert into a large fish under water. He can also spill poisonous acid. However, Moreau is dull enough to resist Ethan from taking back the flask containing rose body part.

One of the beautiful Indie games - Eastward

Eastward game has lot of influence from other 2D games most exclusively Legend of Zelda and Earthbound.  Looking at the artwork and color patterns it can be easily identified that it has lot of influence of Earthbound with lot of Japanese influence. Ubisoft working on a new Splinter Cell game

Rumors are going around that a new Splinter Cell game is being developed by Ubisoft following the release of VR game based on Splinter Cell franchise.  The Latest game would be traditional game for PCs, and consoles. Recently there has been Easter eggs of Splinter Cell in different Ubisoft games such as Rainbow Six Siege, Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Although, it initially was meant to energize the brand of Sam Fisher once again, it backfired as fans were not in a mood to enjoy Easter eggs.
