This year marks the 30th year since the creation of Sonic the Hedgehog. Sega has been very much eager to mark the event by celebrating this event in best way possible.  Sega has partnered Mojang who developed the famous game "Minecraft" to introduce a Sonic DLC in game. This DLC will include most prominent characters of Sonic Universe. It will also include different locations that are related to Sonic game story.  Main Characters: The expected characters to be available to players are Amy Rose, Knuckles the Echidna, Miles "Tails" Prower, Super sonic, Shadow the hedgehog along side the main antagonist Dr. Robotnik. However, Big the cat may not be available. Locations: Players will be able to visit locations such as Green Hills Zone as well as Chemical Plant Zone. These places will reside the enemy bosses from the game including Dr. Robotnik. Players can also obtain a free Sonic character creator item. When compared among the games from Resident Evil series, Village sold more than 3 million copies in 4 days thus beating the record of Resident Evil 7  which was 2.5 million copies of game.
