What does 30th Anniversary Celebration means for Sonic the Hedgehog?

This year marks the 30th year since the creation of Sonic the Hedgehog. Sega has been very much eager to mark the event by celebrating this event in best way possible. 
Sega has partnered Mojang who developed the famous game "Minecraft" to introduce a Sonic DLC in game. This DLC will include most prominent characters of Sonic Universe. It will also include different locations that are related to Sonic game story. 

Main Characters:

The expected characters to be available to players are Amy Rose, Knuckles the Echidna, Miles "Tails" Prower, Super sonic, Shadow the hedgehog along side the main antagonist Dr. Robotnik. However, Big the cat may not be available.

Locations:

Players will be able to visit locations such as Green Hills Zone as well as Chemical Plant Zone. These places will reside the enemy bosses from the game including Dr. Robotnik. Players can also obtain a free Sonic character creator item. Additionally, an upcoming event will include Sonic themed minigames as well as other surprises.

Sega have planned to mark this event also by bringing out new Sonic Colors remaster, retro collection which will be called Sonic Origins along with a newly 3D Sonic game that would be named Sonic Rangers.

Universal Pictures is collaborating with Epic Games to bring a new mini-series

With the Halloween ending, the ongoing event in Fortnite, Shortnitemares Festival will also be ending soon. However, before its end, we would be able to watch a mini-series that would be inspired by Halloween. The collaboration between Epic games and Universal Pictures has resulted in creation of a mini-series called "We Will Be Monsters". This series will start from October 28 onwards with first episode relaying from October 28 on Fortnite game. First episode would be based on reimagining the bride of Frankenstein and Dracula.
