Reasons for Survival of Ethan even in most dangerous situation in Resident Evil: Village

Ethan Winters faces various villains during the events of Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil 8, however each time he manages to escape unhurt or with very less injury.

During the events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, Ethan is chased by Baker family throughout the game. Ethan faces most of the time with Jack Baker.

Ethan Winters is attacked by mutated Mia as well as by other members of Baker family. Mutated Mia stabbed multiple times Ethan and still he is able to be alive.

Eventually, Mia cuts off his left hand using a chain-saw, which is later stapled by Zoe Baker, who is the daughter of Jack Baker.

Similarly, in Resident Evil 8: Village, when Ethan is escaping from Lady Dimitrescu in the Dungeons, Ethan tries to operate a lever but suddenly Lady Dimitrescu appears and chops off the right arm of Ethan with her claws. However, a few minutes later, Ethan is able to recover his arm and fix it properly.

Reason:

In Resident Evil 8: Village we get to know that Ethan is also infected with mold. The mold entered the body of Ethan during the events of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. When Jack Baker killed Ethan, the main antagonist, Evaline tried to control the body of Ethan by forcing mold to enter the body of Ethan. However, Ethan is able to fight back and control the mold.
