Did David Ayer planned a storyline of Justice League starting from Suicide Squad?

 According to director of 2016 version of Suicide Squad movie, David Ayer the film was meant to be part of the Justice League film universe. During the release of the movie on screen, there were many modifications were made that totally changed the outlook of the movie. Such changes were present with both 2016 Suicide Squad as well as 2017 Justice League movie.

Suicide Squad was first planned by Warner Bros. in 2009 and all plans were made by 2014. Same year, David Ayer was signed as director for the movie and casting of actors also started soon. The shooting of film was completed by August 2015 and the film was first premiered on August 2016 at New York City. After release of film, it turned out to be a chartbuster generating revenue of $746 million worldwide making the film the tenth highest grossing film of 2016. Even though there was criticism about the different parts of the movie making, film managed to win Oscars for Best Makeup and Hairstyling at 89th Academy Awards. Margot Robbie was praised for the role of Harley Quinn in the movie. She also returned as Harley Quinn in the 2021 movie based on the same anti-hero squad, The Suicide Squad.

Along side the demand to release Zack Snyder cut of Justice League, many fans were also requesting to make another version of Suicide Squad that have endings and storyline as planned by David Ayer, after David Ayer remarked that he had planned to make the movie differently. Moreover, after the release of 2016 movie, David Ayer stated that the movie was edited by an unknown editor even though the editor was Lee Smith as Warner Bros. executives wanted the film to be more light-hearted.



Recently, March 17, 2023 David Ayer twitted about the movie being directly connected to Zack Snyder Justice League.

David Ayer was upset for the proposed changes that were made in the movie as he wanted the movie to be edited by Lee Smith.

Currently, after the creation of DC Studios under the leadership of James Gunn and Peter Safran, DC Studios plans make whole of DC Universe a single story by connecting all films of DC characters. The new division DC Studios, will be in-charge of making films, movie games. The Justice League characters such as Batman, Superman and Green Lantern.

Ubisoft working on a new Splinter Cell game

Rumors are going around that a new Splinter Cell game is being developed by Ubisoft following the release of VR game based on Splinter Cell franchise.  The Latest game would be traditional game for PCs, and consoles. Recently there has been Easter eggs of Splinter Cell in different Ubisoft games such as Rainbow Six Siege, Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint.
