Anthony Mackie will be protagonist of Twisted Metal Series

 

After becoming Captain America in the latest Captain America movie, Anthony Mackie has bagged another lead role in Twisted Metal live action series.

Sony's Playstation Productions have announced that Anthony Mackie will be playing the lead role of John Doe in its new live action series Twisted Metal.

The Series will revolve around John Doe, who is a milkman hired to deliver packages around post apocalyptic wasteland. Even though, in Twisted Metal: Black, John Doe was seen suffering from Amnesia and only recognized his tattoos. It is not known if the series will be connected with the game through the story line. As the game was build only focused on the road racing and destruction, there might be changes in the storyline.

According to Playstation Productions, the online series will be based on Twisted Metal game and produced by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who are already known for Zombieland, 6 Underground as well as both Deadpool movies. Both Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick will serve as executive producers whereas the writing will be controlled by Michael Jonathan Smith. Moreover, Michael will also serve as executive producer.

Sony has not provided any information about the release date or the streaming service which will showcase Twisted Metal series. Sony has agreement with HBO to stream their online series such as Last of Us. However, there is no exclusive agreement which stops Sony from releasing Twisted Metal on another streaming services.

One of the beautiful Indie games - Eastward

Eastward game has lot of influence from other 2D games most exclusively Legend of Zelda and Earthbound.  Looking at the artwork and color patterns it can be easily identified that it has lot of influence of Earthbound with lot of Japanese influence. Ubisoft working on a new Splinter Cell game

Rumors are going around that a new Splinter Cell game is being developed by Ubisoft following the release of VR game based on Splinter Cell franchise.  The Latest game would be traditional game for PCs, and consoles. Recently there has been Easter eggs of Splinter Cell in different Ubisoft games such as Rainbow Six Siege, Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Although, it initially was meant to energize the brand of Sam Fisher once again, it backfired as fans were not in a mood to enjoy Easter eggs.
