Diablo 4 has new features that will create better experience for gamers

Diablo 4 will be the fourth installment in Diablo series. Diablo games revolve around fight between player and Diablo, Lord of Terror. Each of the games have improve the characters that can be played by player.  Starting from three characters which were Sorcerer, Archer and Warrior in Diablo 1, the characters increased to five in Diablo 2. In Diablo 4 it was announced that only four characters will be available -- Barbarian, Rogue, Sorceress and Druid. As opposed to earlier games, Diablo 4 has Lilith as main antagonist. Lilith is the daughter of Mephisto, Lord of Hatred. Mephisto was absorbed by Diablo to become Prime Evil in previous installment of Diablo.

Many features of Diablo 4 were developed keeping the community in loop. Blizzard have been very much friendly with its Diablo community and taking every suggestions from community seriously. Earlier, during the events related to Diablo Immortal there was very much criticism of developers due to their ignorance of feedback received from community. However, this time Blizzard has tried to rectify the mistake. Recently, developers reconstructed the skill tree map of players as community members were not satisfied with the planned skill tree map.

Developers have tried to keep the interaction with other players at minimalistic levels. During story events, player and related team will not encounter other players randomly. According to Luis Barriga, game director, "Our goal has always been to incorporate elements from shared world games without the game ever feeling like it's veering into massively multiplayer territory." He also added that "to be clear, this is a philosophy rather than a tech limitation. We find that the game stops feeling like Diablo and the world feels less dangerous when you see other players too often or in high numbers." The players will be able to explore the dark dungeons and deep down sites without any interruptions from other players. Player can find other players mostly in towns or when there is no story moment playing in game. Player can coordinate with other players during large events.

One of the important feature of Diablo 4 is the return of PvP. which was missing in Diablo 3. Special zones called Field of Hatred would be PvP zones where players can collect Hatred Shards by killing other players. However, it will not impact the main story by any means. Hatred Shards will be available by killing other players, killing monsters, completing events as well as opening chests. These Shards can only be used once they are purified by entering PvP zones. However, other players can target you once you are in process of purifying the Shards. Purified Shards can be used to buy costumes and other accessories from special vendors. During PvP matches, player with most kills is crowned as Vessel of Hatred and therefore, a ransom is added to such players. Any other player who kill Vessel of Hatred is paid the ransom amount.

It is also confirmed that Diablo 4 will have microtransactions from the interview of Lead Designer Joe Shely as mentioned in PCGamesN. It can be assumed that microtransactions will only allow players to change their costumes and other accessories without impacting the gameplay. Player will have control over various cosmetics which will be changeable using microtransactions. Player will be able to control hair color to eye color. It features such as facial hair, jewelry, tattoos will also be customizable. Even armor color will also be customizable as per IGN

Color palette of Diablo 4 will be more darker than Diablo 3 which was more colorful. Earlier games were also darker and therefore Diablo 4 will try to carry on its legacy of dark color palette which resonate with the story much more than color palette of Diablo 3.

Similar to Diablo 3, skills will be selected in Elective mode. No skill will be locked to a single button. Therefore, player will be able to assign skills to any button to obtain best results. The skill sets will be divided into passive and active skill sets. The skills which are passive in nature will be unlocked at the root of skill tree whereas active skills will be unlocked once player reach any of branches of skill tree.

Diablo 4 will lack any ancient items as many in community were against ancient items. Developers will introduce a new consumable that can be accessed at later stages of game. This consumable will have a legendary affix which can be added to any other non-legendary item.

Diablo 4 will allow controller support for PC as many gamers want to switch between console and PC. Diablo 4 will also allow player to choose a button other than left button of mouse for the primary skill. Diablo 4 will have a new set of monsters which are cannibal in nature. Among these monsters, two are melee fighters where one is equipped with two handed greatsword cleaver while another has lightweight halberd.

Diablo 4 will try to win back its community as many in community were not happy with features of Diablo 3 including its color system. This game will have most features that were part of series from beginning or before Diablo 3. As the game lies in MMORPG genre, many gamers were disappointed by lack of PvP and similar features which form the core of any MMORPG game. New features will allow Diablo 4 game to please its die-hard game lovers as well as attract new followers.
