What makes Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart different from previous games?

 Ratchet and Clank against Nefarious:

Initially, the game has Ratchet and Clank as heroes and Captain Drek of Blarg as the antagonist. Both Ratchet and Clank being resident of Planet Veldin, fight against Drek so that they could save their planet. Both Ratchet and Clank are robots who have ability to display emotions similar to the humans.
For the first time, Dr. Nefarious makes appearance in Ratchet and 'Clank series in its third installment named Ratchet and Clank: Up your Arsenal where Dr. Nefarious lead an invasion of Tyhrranoids on the Solana galaxy.
   Since, the failed invasion, Nefarious became archrivals of both Ratchet and Clank.  This year Insomniac games are releasing the 16th installment of Ratchet and Clank game series. 



Main Story:

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart deals with a new equipment named as Dimensionator which was developed by Lombax race. However, one of the Dimensionator became faulty resulting in formation of opening rifts between different realities. Witnessing a good opportunity, Nefarious tries to use it for gaining control over the different worlds that are linked by the equipment. Now only, Ratchet and Clank are able to stop Nefarious. At last, Ratchet and Clank are able to meet Nefarious but Nefarious has converted into a king who has much higher might than Ratchet and Clank.

Gameplay:

The main playable character in this game is Ratchet. Many of the game features are present in previous games too.  Elemental skills of Ratchet and Clank such as strafing, bolt collection, all weapons being automatic, different health upgrades along with different gadgets. One such weapon named Rift Tether can allow fast travel to Ratchet and Clank. The fast travel can be used for moving between different planets and different galaxies. This feature is new to the series. This game also allows the player to play as Lombax native named Rivet.
The character will move using the abilities such as dashing and wall running as present in previous installments of this game.

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is coming on June 11, 2021 on Playstation as revealed in Playstation event. The game is developed by Insomniac games and it is published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Game will be available in standard edition as well as deluxe edition.

One of the beautiful Indie games - Eastward

Eastward game has lot of influence from other 2D games most exclusively Legend of Zelda and Earthbound.  Looking at the artwork and color patterns it can be easily identified that it has lot of influence of Earthbound with lot of Japanese influence. Ubisoft working on a new Splinter Cell game

Rumors are going around that a new Splinter Cell game is being developed by Ubisoft following the release of VR game based on Splinter Cell franchise.  The Latest game would be traditional game for PCs, and consoles. Recently there has been Easter eggs of Splinter Cell in different Ubisoft games such as Rainbow Six Siege, Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint. Although, it initially was meant to energize the brand of Sam Fisher once again, it backfired as fans were not in a mood to enjoy Easter eggs.
