What does Chivalry II has in store for you?

Hack and Slash game:

Hack and Slash games are games which requires the player to equip swords or similar weapons that can slash the enemy. These games can be role playing games or multiplayer in nature. The latest game in this genre were released around 2019 which included Devil may cry and Sekiro: Shadows die twice. These games were very popular among the gamers. Chivalry 2 will also have weapons such as swords and blades. It will be the first game in hack and slash category to be launched in 2021.

Game Detail:

Chivalry 2 is the sequel to Chivalry: Medieval Warfare which was released in 2012. Chivalry 2 will be released in June 2021. The game is being developed by Torn Banner Studios and will be published by Tripwire Interactive. It will have the facility of preloading and pre-installation of the game before its release. According to the available information, players interested in preloading the game can start preloading their games from June 6 onwards from 11:00 EST. This features will be available only for the players who have Xbox and Playstation platforms. For the players who are using their PCs for playing this game, they need to preload their games on June 8th at 10:30 EST onwards. The PC version of the game will be available from the Epic Store. Moreover, the players using the PC can also use the new streaming service brought by NVIDIA. This new gaming open cloud system is called as GeForce NOW.

The online servers of Chivalry 2 will be officially online from June 6 at 11:00 EST.

Gameplay:

Chivalry 2 is an action game that need the player to equip weapons of melee attacking style. The player can play in first person perspective or third person perspective. Player has choice of using either melee attack weapons or the player can choose the range weapons too.

Different melee weapons that can be used are mace, swords, longbow, sledgehammers, battleaxes and many more.

Player can also choose from range weapons such as bow and arrows  In total, Chivalry 2 provides the player to use 60 different kinds of weapons including more than 20 heavy and medium shield variant of weapons. Many weapons are unorthodox weapons in the game.

The graphics of the game has been enhanced by use of Unreal Engine 4. It allows the player to choose from a very large options during customization of the characters. The player can choose from skin color, different faces of both genders, different forms of hairs, different tattoos, different facial expressions. Due to use of Unreal Engine 4, the imperfections of armors and weapons are also visible.

Different Units:

The players can choose between different categories of soldiers to fight in game. There are 4 primary classes of soldiers, which are knight. footman, vanguard and archer. In total player can choose between 12 sub classes of soldiers.

In Knight class, player can choose as officer (melee, ranged hybrid or support), guardian (shield and one hand fight capability) or crusader (officer with very large health)

In Footman class, player can play as poleman (spear as weapon), man-at-arms (agile and one hand weapon) or as field engineer (support class).

In Vanguard class, player can play as ambusher (ranged hybrid or melee), Devastator (largest weapon in game) or as raider (has two primary weapons).

And in Archer class, player can choose between longbowman, crossbowman or skirmisher.

Maps:

Eight maps are available in the game during the launch. Among them 5 are team based map where team need to complete specified objectives whereas other 3 are deathmatch where it is free for all situation.

• The Siege of Rudhelm (Team objective)
• The Battle of Dark Forest (Team objective)
• Escape from Falmire (Team objective)

• The Battle of Wardenglade (Team Deathmatch and free for all)
• The Fighting Pit (Team Deathmatch and free for all)

Basic Features:

Player can practice with bots in offline maps, where player can launch any mode as well as any map. The game allows player to change fighting style as well as use any object found in the battlefield for fighting. The game has improved combat system which allows newer combat moves, better animations which allows faster combat simulation and more natural combat flow. The game allows 64 players to interact in a single multiplayer game with maps that have multiple objectives. Each of the objectives may require castle siege, ambushes in forests or pillaging villages. Better animation allows more expressions during fights. The game allows player to keep fighting even when the player has missing limbs or even when player is downed and just left with last breath.

Special Edition Chivalry 2:

The special edition Chivalry 2 has special weapons and armors for the player which gives player advantage over rivals and fellow players.

Following are the special items that can be obtained through special edition of Chivalry 2:

• Gold Horseman's Axe
• Roses Novelty Item
• 1000 Crowns + 5000 Gold

Currencies:

Crowns are the premium currency which are more valuable than Gold. In this game, gold is earnable currency which is earned by playing the game. Gold can be used to purchase cosmetic items only if the item is unlocked. However, Crowns can be used to purchase cosmetic items even if the item is not unlocked.

Chivalry 2 is releasing this 8th June 2021. It is developed by Torn Banner Studios and published by Tripwire Interactive. It will be available in Xbox platforms, Playstation platforms as well as PC.
