Basic Steps

Players using consoles which are Xbox, Playstation and Switch will require to create their own Battle.net account. The players playing game in PC already have their Battle.net account.

For the console players, as player start the game, it will prompt them to create Battle.net account and then player need to link their console account with Battle.net account.

Create Battle.net Account

Player need to visit Battle.net and then create their free Battle.net account. After creation of account at Battle.net, player need to visit Account Settings and select Connection option available under the Account Setting segment. From this page you can link your console to Battle.net account.

Steps for linking Console to Battle.net Account

Player need to start the game and press confirmation button when asked in the welcome screen of Overwatch game. On confirming player will get two options - either using alpha-numeric code or using QR code to make link to Battle.net account,

The alpha-numeric code can be entered at Blizzard link site.

The QR code can be scanned using mobile app and player will be redirected to a website containing pre-entered code that was scanned by player.

Player will move to verification page where player need to enter credentials of Battle.net account which will finalize the link between console and Battle.net account. When verification is complete a successful completion message will appear on game screen to confirm it.
